The Inside Scoop: Which Bedding Brand Is Worth the Hype?

I made my bed, and I LOVE lying in it.

main

I found the perfect sheets.

When I get good rest, everything else in life feels better. But do sheets actually improve your sleep?

I put 5 popular brands to the test: Cozy Earth, Miracle Made, Sleepgram, Grounding Co., and THXSILK.

The results surprised me, but I took plenty of notes for you.

Material

main

I’m obsessed with soft things. The feeling of sheets on my skin when I slide into bed totally makes or breaks my vibe for the night.

Each brand’s material is unique and has its own feel. Here’s my breakdown:

Cozy Earth

You know that involuntary sigh you make when you feel something super soft? Cozy Earth makes me do it every night. Their 100% bamboo viscose fabric seriously helped me sleep better from night 1.

Miracle Made

NASA-inspired sheets made of 100% silver-infused cotton that naturally prevent up to 99.7% of bacteria growth. I feel cleaner just laying in them.

Sleepgram

Sleepgram knows how to jump on a trend: they have both bamboo and silver-infused cotton sheet sets. Both sets feel similar to big-name department store sheets.

Grounding Co.

Organic cotton and silver give the Grounding Co.’s Terra Bed Sheets a crisp, classic feel. Their feel is a good runner-up to Miracle Made.

THXSILK

Just saying the words “silk sheets” makes me feel like royalty. While they do feel light and smooth (and, dare I say, sexy!), silk sheets require special care when washing.

My winner: Cozy Earth

Comfort

main

Even if your sheets feel nice, you still might wake up in a pool of sweat. So you peel off your moist covers, and suddenly you’re freezing.

Eliminating crazy temperature swings is the difference between waking up groggy and waking up refreshed.

Cozy Earth

With Cozy Earth, not only do I drift off at the perfect temperature, but I’m sound asleep until my alarm. Their proprietary fabric helps me wake up feeling cozy but never hot (and never sweaty!).

Miracle Made

The silver woven into Miracle Made’s cotton fabric naturally dissipates body heat, making these sheets super cooling. I’d choose them if I was a chronically hot sleeper.

Sleepgram

Both their bamboo and silver-cotton sheets feel more breathable than cheap polyester sheets. They’re a solid option at a lower price point than Miracle or Cozy.

Grounding Co.

While the physical feel of this brand isn’t a standout, they’re scientifically proven to reduce inflammation and increase restorative sleep. I definitely woke up feeling naturally rejuvenated.

THXSILK

This silk and modal blend wicks away moisture 50% better than traditional cotton, and I could definitely tell the difference in breathability.

My winner: Cozy Earth

Durability

main

Let’s be real: I do way more than just sleep in my bed. And the more action my sheets get, the more they need to be washed.

All of that gets rough on fabric. If I invest in sheets, I really need them to last.

Cozy Earth

I’m an addict: I use Cozy’s sheets pretty much constantly. For how soft they are, I didn’t expect them to feel so sturdy, too. No pilling or disintegrating here!

Miracle Made

Removing the chore of washing was a stroke of genius. Okay, you still have to clean Miracle Made sheets sometimes (I’m not nasty), but the anti-bacterial magic lets you go 3x longer between washes. Longer-lasting and less work? Yes please!

Sleepgram

Like Miracle Made, Sleepgram’s silver-cotton sheets are self-cleaning and require less washing, helping them outlast traditional cotton bedding.

Grounding Co.

I was surprised to learn that grounding sheets can be laundered just like normal. However, bleach or oil residue can damage the grounding properties, so they still require proper care compared to other brands.

THXSILK

Real mulberry silk feels like absolute luxury, but THXSILK’s website recommends hand-washing and line-drying their sheets. If you have the time and energy, the silk experience may be worth it for you.

My winner: Miracle Made

Sustainability

main

With all the shady stuff companies try to pull these days, I really want to buy products that I feel good about.

It’s always a relief when a brand works to earn my trust and I don’t have to wonder (or worse, find out bad things later).

Cozy Earth

I expected Cozy Earth’s eco-friendly claims to just be an asterisk that says “organic.” But their website took me on a whole journey from jungle to mattress, and the transparency was super refreshing.

Miracle Made

Conventional cotton farming is pretty rough on the environment. While Miracle Made isn’t less sustainable than the average bedding company, they’re not a standout.

Sleepgram

SSustainability isn’t Sleepgram’s focus, but they are OEKO-Tex Certified, so all of their sheets are free from harmful chemicals.

Grounding Co.

The Grounding Co. uses organic materials, which does help offset the environmental strain of cotton farming. But personally, I feel better about bamboo.

THXSILK

While modal fabric is more sustainable than cotton, silk is very energy and water-intensive to produce. Silk sheets may not appeal to eco-conscious shoppers.

My winner: Cozy Earth

Popularity

main

Oprah knows more about comfort and luxury than I ever will. And when she picks a brand over and over, I’m crazy if I don’t try them.

Not only does Oprah adore Cozy Earth products, but so does everyone else—they have over 50,000 5-star reviews.

I’m glad I tested them myself, but I didn’t need to. They definitely lived up to the hype.

Verdict

Cozy Earth covers basically everything I own, from my mattress to my couch to my feet. It really gives me a safe-haven feeling that I crave whenever I come home.

All of these brands have something to offer, and each home is unique. As for my ideal sheets, Cozy Earth is a clear winner.

I can’t recommend them enough!
